  1. The South African Veterinary Foundation NPO respects your privacy and will take reasonable measures to protect it, as more fully detailed below.
  2. You can browse our site without telling us who you are, or revealing any of your personal information. We do track the Internet address of visitors and analyse such for trends and statistics. The individual user remains anonymous.
  3. Some of our web pages utilise “cookies” so that we can provide you with more tailored information when you return to our site. “Cookies” are used to enhance your interactive experience and generally improve the service which we offer you. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, to decide whether or not to accept it.
  4. Should you decide to apply for a bursary or provide us with personal information for any other purpose on the Website, we may require you to provide us with personal information which includes but is not limited to:

    2. your email address;
    3. your physical address;
    4. your gender;
    5. your mobile number; and
    6. your date of birth.

      1. to our officers and/or third party service providers who assist us to interact with you via our Website, email or any other method in order to assist us to communicate with you properly and efficiently;

In the event of a fraudulent online donation, the South African Veterinary Foundation NPO is entitled to disclose relevant personal information for criminal investigation purposes or in line with any other legal obligation for disclosure of the personal information which may be required of it.

We will ensure that all of our officers, third party service providers, affiliates and partners (including their employees and third party service providers) having access to your personal information are bound by appropriate and legally binding confidentiality obligations in relation to your personal information.
  10. We may from time to time disclose aggregate information to third parties to identify the user population in general terms. Your identity and/or personal information will under no circumstances be disclosed
  11. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of, or the content on sites linking out of or into the SAVF website. You agree to exclude the SAVF from any liability arising from your access to sites other than the SAVF website.
