Winner of the 2025 Pet Memorial Fund prize
The R5000 Pet Memorial Fund prize was handed over at the prize-giving ceremony of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria, on 27 March 2025 on behalf of the South African Veterinary Foundation, by Dr Ziyanda Majokweni, President of the South African Veterinary Association.
Many congratulations, Daniel! We hope that the prize will support you as an exceptional student and future veterinarian.
The Pet Memorial Fund is funded through donations from veterinarians and veterinary practices in memory of patients who have passed away. In this way, we as veterinarians acknowledge the privilege of caring for our patients, and can honour the animals that impact us every day.
